Shadowsocks is one of the proxy protocols Clash Plus can manage. It can be used with rule-based routing, proxy groups and DNS policies in subscription configurations. This page explains how Shadowsocks fits into a Clash Plus setup.

What It Is

Shadowsocks is generally used to forward local app traffic to a remote service you configure. The experience depends on server deployment, route quality, encryption, transport settings and client-side rules.

Use Cases

In Clash Plus, Shadowsocks nodes can be used with proxy groups. Put multiple nodes into one group, then use manual selection, automatic testing, failover or load balancing.

Configuration Points

When importing Shadowsocks configuration, check the server address, port, credentials, transport parameters, TLS options and subscription format. Providers may package these values inside a subscription URL.

Tips

Run a latency test before making a node part of your default group. Separate rules for streaming, developer tools and frequently used websites help reduce misrouting and improve stability.

Clash Plus does not provide proxy servers or collect node configuration. Make sure you have permission to use the node or subscription and follow applicable laws and regulations.
